I’m Angela McRae, a freelance editor, writer, and blogger in Newnan, Georgia. I have edited novels, self-help books, cookbooks, and inspirational books. In a previous life, I was an award-winning journalist and magazine editor, roles which gave me enough writing material to last a lifetime. I have also served as a book critic for Kirkus Reviews, and I blog on the topic of teatime three days a week here. In 2011, I published my first book, Dainty Dining, a hybrid cookbook and history book about department store tea rooms. In 2016, I published a book of tea-themed short stories, A Year of Teatime Tales.
I currently have a freelance writing and editing business, providing PR and marketing support to local businesses and nonprofits. I also serve as a copy editor and line editor with Red Adept Editing.
My favorite novels are cozy mysteries, and in 2017 I will submit my own cozy mystery for publication. (Wish me luck!)
